Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
YouTube and Instagram Video Editor
to create engaging, high-quality video content tailored for digital platforms. The role involves editing long-form YouTube videos as well as short-form content for Instagram Reels, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing, and visual impact.
This is a fulltime, remote role for someone who understands social media content dynamics and audience engagement.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form videos for
YouTube
(talking head, podcasts, tutorials, vlogs).
- Create short-form videos for
Instagram Reels
(and similar formats) from long content or raw clips.
- Add clean cuts, transitions, captions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
- Optimize videos for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and pacing.
- Maintain consistent visual style and branding across content.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams on creative direction.
- Deliver content on time with consistent quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing videos for
YouTube and Instagram
.
- Strong skills in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Good understanding of social media trends, hooks, and viewer retention.
- Experience with captions, subtitles, and basic animations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setup.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling sense.
Nice to Have
- Experience editing for other short-form platforms (Shorts, TikTok).
- Motion graphics or animation experience.
