The Mission Munich-based OroraTech is developing a constellation of nano-satellites with thermal infrared cameras for automated wildfire detection, severe weather warnings and many other applications. Following the successful launches of our FOREST-1 mission in 2022, FOREST-2 in 2023, we launched our next satellite, FOREST-3 beginning of 2025, which included an in-house developed payload and BUS. In the same year our first satellite plane, OTC-P1, was launched, followed by our newly designed 16U satellite, GENA-OT, which will be launched end of 2025.
The next step is to improve our satellite design based on all the learnings we have gained and scale up our production to extend our satellite constellation.
We are looking for a talented, hands-on engineer to support us with the design and testing of the new generation of our satellites and payloads. You will be joining a very motivated and highly enthusiastic team of experts in the fields of mechanical, optics, electronics, spacecraft, and software engineering.
