Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Website and Backend Engineer based in Lagos, with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing the backend systems and functionalities of the company’s digital platforms. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components, write clean and efficient code, and support software development projects while troubleshooting and optimizing performance for scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Proficiency in Front-End Development and frameworks
Advanced Programming skills including experience with server-side languages and database systems
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, hybrid work environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with cloud-based infrastructures or DevOps tools is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
