The VP of Sales will own revenue growth for a cloud based SOCMINT (Social Media Intelligence) platform serving law enforcement, national security, and government security organizations. This role is responsible for building and leading a high trust, consultative B2G/B2B sales organization that navigates complex public sector procurement, long sales cycles, and strict security and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute a go to market strategy for selling SOCMINT SaaS into government, defense, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure security customers (B2G/B2B)
• Own the end to end public sector sales cycle: prospecting, RFP/RFQ responses, pilots/POCs, security reviews, commercial negotiation, and contract closur.
• Partner with product and intelligence teams to translate complex SOCMINT capabilities (real time threat detection, online investigations, situational awareness) into clear operational value for security decision makers
• Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders across ministries, defense and intelligence units, national police, fusion centers, and other security agences.
• Build accurate public sector pipeline and forecasting, report on win/loss insights, and inform territory, segment, and partner straegy.
• Support development of channel and partner ecosystems (integrators, prime contractors, regional partners) that can carry SOCMINT offerings into complex government progams. **Required
qualifiations
• Proven public sector sales experience, selling security, intelligence, or cyber SaaS solutions: Selling to government and security organizations with long procurement cycles, including success winning RFP driven deals and frame work cotracts.
• Strong understanding of SOCMINT/OSINT concepts and how social media intelligence is used in investigations, counter terrorism, and protective security oprations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed sales teams and operate in high sensitivity, mission critical envronments.
Domain credibility : Familiarity with national security, law enforcement, or intelligence workflows and constraints, including privacy and civil‑liberties considerations in SCMINT use.
