ABOUT THE ROLE
Digital Direction is a fast-moving marketing and content creation agency serving international brands. We're looking for a talented, culturally switched-on Video Editor who lives and breathes Gen Z content, understands global audience behaviour, and can move fast without compromising quality. This is a fully remote, full-time role based in Pakistan.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)
- Apply AI tools and prompting workflows to accelerate content production
- Produce scroll-stopping content tailored to Gen Z aesthetics and trends
- Design graphics and motion elements aligned with brand guidelines
- Adapt content for international markets with cultural sensitivity
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Social Media Managers on 30-day content calendars
- Maintain brand consistency across all video and visual outputs
- Stay current with platform algorithm changes and content trends
WHAT YOU BRING
- Proven portfolio of video editing work for social media
- Deep understanding of Gen Z content culture, trends, and humour
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (RunwayML, Pika, CapCut AI, Midjourney, or similar)
- Strong AI prompting skills for image, video, and motion generation
- Graphic design ability — typography, layout, brand visual execution
- Solid understanding of international market content standards
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple briefs and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working with UAE, UK, or US-based brands
- Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance
- Basic video scripting or storyboarding ability
- Experience in a remote agency environment
