Role: Vice President of Sales (Biosimilar, Oncology)
Work location: Fulltime Remote /Jersey City,NJ
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the
biosimilars space
, with proven expertise in
Buy-and-Bill commercialization models
and a solid understanding of
GPO and IDN contracting/market access strategies
. They should demonstrate hands-on experience driving commercialization efforts, managing provider channel engagement, and navigating reimbursement and distribution frameworks within the biosimilars market.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Vice President of Sales will report to Sr Vice President (Commercial) and be Responsible for building and leading the sales organization at Celltrion USA in launching new products. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external customers to achieve company sales goals and objectives. Seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our commercial field force for a growing portfolio of oncology biosimilars within the buy-and-bill model. This executive will lead sales strategies and execution, drive revenue growth, cultivate deep relationships across large community oncology practices and integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and build high-performance teams across the oncology vertical, with a sharp focus on launching oncology biosimilars.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Set and execute sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals in a highly competitive biosimilar market
Lead and coach a field-based team of KADs and Area Directors to develop strategic relationships with large oncology group practices, IDNs, GPOs, and hospital systems.
Design and implement strategies for product launches, market penetration, and topline growth of the oncology portfolio
WORK EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical/bioscience or related experience with product launch experience -- progressive market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 10 years as a regional or national sales leader.
Market Access experience for biologics and/or biosimilar is a plus
Comprehensive experience in launch, high price, medical benefit (infusion) / procedure-based products additionally orphan experience a plus.
Experience with building strategy for manage care coverage, coding and reimbursement processes and/or policy.
Ability to analyze and interpret regulations, legislation, rulemaking, policy advisory opinions and stay within legal guardrails.
Ability to travel 50% or more.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Cultivate strategic relationships with oncology KOLs.
Partner closely with the Medical Affairs and Market Access teams to optimize sales enablement and navigate reimbursement landscapes.
Monitor competitive activity and provide strategic insights to adjust positioning and messaging of oncology products
Foster a high-performance culture and develop an optimized/efficient sales structure including territory alignment and expansion as required to support the pipeline
Collaborate with commercial ops in the development and presentation of the forecast and plan and report on forecasts, market trends, and CI to executive leadership.
Collaborate with training to support and develop effective rollout of curriculum to balance preparation for new launches and time in the field
Minimum 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 5+ years in oncology sales and a proven track record in the buy-and-bill model.
Demonstrated success leading national or regional sales teams, ideally in biosimilars or specialty injectables.
Deep understanding of oncology practice dynamics, infusion center operations, and reimbursement pathways.
Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and sales methods, tools and concepts (market research, advertising, public relations media placement, etc.).
Understand current and future market and challenges in the healthcare industry; discern trends and leverage data to optimize business decisions.
Strong project management experience with the ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders, including prime management of a strategic sales agency.
Must be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural, global team environment as responsibilities include crossfunctional collaboration with Celltrion USA, Inc.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Team player, flexible, ability to adapt to change, self-starter.
Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Prior job experience in marketing, market access, analytics, training, or related roles
Starting up, launch, high priced, medical benefit experience are all a plus.
Ability to travel and perform job duties (up to 50%).
