About the role
We are looking for a
VP of Finance
to join ShipIn’s management team and lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for building and scaling ShipIn’s financial infrastructure while balancing strong operational foundations with forward-looking strategic planning. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both look back - ensuring accurate reporting, consolidation, and compliance; and look forward - shaping the company’s financial structure, growth, and long-term financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all core financial operations activities, including reporting, consolidation, oversight of tax processes through external advisors, and ensuring accurate recurring revenue recognition and reporting.
Design and support forward-looking financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making) to identify and drive new revenue opportunities.

Help shape the company’s financial structure as ShipIn scales, including entity relationships and support for evolving commercial models (including leasing where relevant).
Build and maintain scalable financial infrastructure to support a growing SaaS business with hardware components, ensuring strong controls and operational efficiency.
Partner closely with the CEO and executive team as a member of the leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and company growth.
Oversee core SaaS financial metrics, including ARR/MRR, retention and expansion, CAC/LTV, and overall unit economics.
Develop and optimize financial processes to support scale, efficiency, and investor readiness.
Managing external auditors, tax authorities, and local financial service providers
Support fundraising and investor relations, including interaction with VCs and financial diligence processes.
10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
Proven experience as a senior finance leader (VP Finance / Head of Finance / similar) in a SaaS startup with strong understanding of ARR and recurring revenue models.
Mandatory experience in companies combining software and hardware.
Strong background in accounting, reporting, and financial consolidation, including international entities.
Experience managing U.S. and non-U.S. entities (Israel & Singapore is a plus), and working with global operations.
Experience leading or supporting financial due diligence processes with investors as part of fundraising rounds or strategic initiatives.
Experience across both startups and larger organizations is a strong advantage.
Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic, future-oriented thinking.
Experience working with board members and executive leadership teams.
High ownership mindset, strong drive, and a “builder” approach — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes initiative.
Some exposure to Venture Capital and prior M&A experience are strong advantages.
Excellent communication skills and ability to operate as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team.
