About DeepMM
DeepMM is building AI-native systems for institutional credit markets, starting with corporate bonds. Our platform helps trading desks, asset managers, market makers, and other institutional market participants make better pricing, execution, and workflow decisions in markets where liquidity is fragmented, data is noisy, and traditional systems leave substantial opportunity on the table.
We are an early-stage company with institutional customer traction and are looking for a commercially driven enterprise sales professional to help expand our pipeline and bring DeepMM to more financial institutions.
The Role
We are hiring a VP, Enterprise Sales to drive outbound enterprise sales and business development with banks, asset managers, hedge funds, trading firms, fintechs, data providers, and other institutional finance prospects.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, polished, relentless with outreach, comfortable speaking with senior finance and technology stakeholders, and excited to earn upside through stock options and commission.
You will work directly with the founding team to identify prospects, craft outreach, secure meetings, manage follow-up, and help convert early conversations into pilots, partnerships, and commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Build targeted prospect lists across institutional finance
• Conduct high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach to decision-makers and practitioners
• Secure introductory calls, discovery meetings, demos, pilots, and partnership conversations
• Research target accounts and identify relevant stakeholders across trading, technology, data, quant, and business teams
• Write clear, professional, personalized outreach emails and LinkedIn messages
• Track prospects, conversations, next steps, and pipeline progress
• Help refine messaging, qualification criteria, and sales collateral based on market feedback
• Join calls with prospects and help manage follow-up
• Develop a strong understanding of DeepMM’s product, market, and customer pain points
• Support the founding team in moving opportunities from first conversation to commercial engagement
Ideal Candidate
• 2–6 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, financial services, fintech, capital markets, consulting, or a related client-facing role
• Strong interest in institutional finance, AI, trading technology, market data, or fintech
• Excellent written communication skills, especially for cold outbound and executive-facing emails
• Comfortable doing direct outreach and following up persistently but professionally
• Highly organized and able to manage many prospects and conversations at once
• Able to quickly understand complex products and explain them clearly
• Polished enough to communicate credibly with senior professionals at banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading firms
• Self-directed, competitive, and comfortable in an early-stage startup environment
• Excited by performance-based compensation and meaningful upside
• Prior experience in financial services, fintech sales, institutional sales, investment banking, markets, or capital markets is strongly preferred

This is a full-time contract role. Compensation will consist of:
• Stock options
• Commission on closed revenue
This role does not include a traditional salaried base unless otherwise agreed in writing. It is designed for an ambitious professional who wants meaningful upside and is excited to help build the enterprise sales function of an early-stage AI/fintech company.
