About The Role
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually compelling, and user-friendly digital interfaces that facilitate the operation, monitoring, and management of our robotic systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers to translate complex technical workflows into elegant and efficient user interfaces. Your work will help bridge the gap between advanced robotics technology and user accessibility, ensuring our products are both functional and engaging. While robotics experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; what matters most is your ability to simplify complex systems, advocate for users, and bring a strong design perspective to a multidisciplinary team. This position offers flexibility for remote work, with a preference for candidates near our physical offices to facilitate in-person collaboration and team engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web or software applications
- Experience designing complex systems, dashboards, or technical tools
- Familiarity with robotics, IoT, or industrial automation interfaces is a plus
- Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with engineering teams
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for robotic and web-based user interfaces, including wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets for development implementation
- Create industry-leading user interfaces and experiences for robot operator tools, dashboards, and mobile/web/VR applications
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business objectives
- Assist UX researchers in conducting user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on user feedback
- Create intuitive visualizations for real-time data, robot status, and system controls to enhance user understanding and interaction
