Unity Developer (VR, Shaders, Interaction & Simulation)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Unity Developer who has hands-on experience in VR development, shader programming, interaction systems, particle effects, terrain-based level design, and vehicle/traffic simulation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating immersive, high-performance 3D experiences and solving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement interactive VR systems using Unity and XR frameworks.
Create and optimize custom shaders (HLSL/Shader Graph) for visual effects, rendering, and environment interactions.
Build advanced particle effects such as mud splashes, debris, weather effects, smoke, etc.
Design, develop, and modify terrain-based levels, including foliage, heightmaps, and performance-optimized environments.
Implement and maintain advanced traffic systems with AI-driven behaviors and navigation.
Work on vehicle dynamics including physics setup, suspension, handling, and real-world behavior simulation.
Optimize scenes, assets, and scripts for VR performance (occlusion, LODs, draw calls, batching).
Write clean, scalable C# gameplay and interaction scripts.
Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and technical teams to meet project requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and gameplay issues.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Unity Engine (URP/HDRP).
Proficiency in C# programming and gameplay scripting.
Experience working with VR platforms (Meta/Quest, SteamVR, Pico, etc.).
Strong knowledge of shader development using HLSL or Shader Graph.
Experience creating complex particle systems (mud effects, weather effects).
Level design expertise with Unity Terrain Tools and environment composition.
Understanding of vehicle physics, wheel colliders, and dynamics.
Experience developing AI traffic systems (NavMesh, custom systems).
Knowledge of optimization techniques for large scenes and VR.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
