We are seeking an experienced L2 and L3 UI/UX Engineers to join our innovative team at Zaden Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, user-centered interfaces. You will work closely with our development teams to create products that require minimal training and feel "natural" to use, directly supporting our mission to automate a smarter future through exceptional user experiences.

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field or equivilent experience
3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a focus on enterprise or technical applications
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first design approaches
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and design thinking
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Living within Commutable distance to San Antonio, TX
Active security clearance
Experience designing for DevSecOps, cloud computing, or enterprise software platforms
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native application interfaces
Background in defense, aerospace, or government contracting
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
Understanding of machine learning and AI-driven interfaces
