Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Embedded Systems Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and debugging embedded firmware/software. In this role, you will work closely with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to build reliable and efficient embedded solutions for our products.
A key focus of this position is designing and integrating gimbal camera systems for UAV applications , including stabilization, payload control, and real-time video/data transmission. If you have prior experience developing embedded systems for gimbals, UAV payloads, or related mechatronic systems, we want to hear from you.

Experience Required : 3 to 5 years
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and test embedded firmware/software using C/C++.
· Work on microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, STM32, etc.) and embedded platforms.
· Debug hardware/software issues using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
· Implement and optimize low-level drivers for communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.).
· Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new hardware boards.
· Develop and maintain real-time embedded applications using RTOS or bare-metal programming.
· Document design specifications, code, and test procedures.
· Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of development practices.
· Develop and integrate gimbal control systems for UAVs, including stabilization algorithms, IMU/encoder integration, and closed-loop motor control.
· Work on real-time video stabilization, payload control interfaces, and communication between UAV flight controller and gimbal systems.
· Optimize system performance for weight, power, and latency constraints specific to UAV applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
· Strong programming skills in C/C++.
· Experience with at least one RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr).
· Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD) and lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter).
· Understanding of embedded communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.).
· Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and datasheets.
· Experience working with gimbals, camera payloads, or similar mechatronic systems.
· Knowledge of sensor fusion (IMU, encoders) and motor control for gimbal stabilization.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with embedded Linux or bare-metal systems.
· Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash for testing and automation.
· Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi).
· Exposure to IoT platforms or cloud connectivity.
· Experience in Agile development methodologies.
· Experience in UAV integration: interfacing gimbal systems with UAV flight controllers, video transmission modules, and ground control stations.
· Knowledge of video compression, latency optimization, and real-time data streaming.
