Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Goa, India, for a UAV Pilot & GIS Data Analyst. The responsibilities include operating and maintaining UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for aerial mapping and data collection, analyzing GIS data, processing imagery using specialized software, and creating detailed reports. The role also involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their data and mapping requirements, ensuring mission accuracy, and providing on-ground solutions to technical challenges. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, alongside routine UAV maintenance and troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Skills - Technical
Proficiency in
Pix4D, DJI Terra, Agisoft Metashape
QGIS / ArcGIS
LiDAR processing
Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial workflows.
Strong knowledge of drone hardware, sensors, and repair techniques.
Ability to operate RTK/PPK-enabled UAVs and survey payloads.
Certifications
DGCA Certified Remote Pilot
Any GIS/Mapping certification

Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in UAV operation and GIS software are highly desirable.
Process RGB, LiDAR, and multispectral datasets.
Create orthomosaic, DSM/DTM, point clouds, 3D models, contour maps, and analytical GIS layers.
Use tools like Pix4D, DJI Terra, Metashape, QGIS, ArcGIS.
Perform data QC and prepare client deliverables.
Operate survey-grade multirotor and fixed-wing UAVs used by Kambill Systems.
Conduct flight planning, safety checks, risk assessments, and mission execution.
Ensure DGCA compliance, NPNT procedures, and safe operational standards.
Maintain flight logs, equipment records, and mission documentation.
Troubleshoot motors, ESCs, batteries, payloads, and sensors.
