Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in UAV . The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complete product lifecycle activities—from concept design to development and assembly. The role requires a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, physics, and mathematics, along with hands-on experience in UAV assembly and CAD-based design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
CAD modelling and detailing
for mechanical components and assemblies
- Support and participate in
UAV and assembly activities
- Apply
GD&T principles
to ensure manufacturability and quality compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, testing, electronics, systems)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during development and assembly stages
- Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and design reports
- Support basic structural analysis and design verification (FEA knowledge is a plus)
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in
CAD tools
(SolidWorks / CATIA / NX or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience in
UAV
- Excellent understanding of
mechanics, physics, and mathematics
- Solid working knowledge of
GD&T
Preferred / Optional Skills
- Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Exposure to testing, validation, and field deployment activities
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or unmanned systems is an advantage

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- High level of ownership and accountability
Education
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering
