ki:elements pioneers speech-based biomarkers as tools for clinical research. We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Therapeutic Area Lead to guide the development, positioning, and market success of SB-C, our speech biomarker for cognition .
This role combines product ownership with commercial leadership — shaping the vision, driving adoption, and acting as the trusted external champion of SB-C across the Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive health ecosystem.
You will own the for SB-C: from defining the product roadmap and market fit to leading external engagement with pharma and biotech partners. You will be the bridge between — ensuring SB-C continues to advance as the industry’s most trusted digital cognitive assessment.
Tasks
Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for SB-C within Alzheimer’s disease and related cognitive disorders.
Work closely with R&D, data science, clinical, and regulatory teams to align technical development with customer and market needs.
Translate market insights and clinical developments into product requirements and value propositions.
Guide evidence-generation and validation strategies to strengthen product credibility and differentiation.
Act as the primary commercial champion for SB-C — representing the product externally with clients, partners, and industry bodies.
Build and manage strategic partnerships with pharma, biotech, CROs, and digital health collaborators deploying SB-C.
Lead go-to-market planning, pricing strategy, and client engagement approaches.
Support business development by articulating the clinical and commercial value of SB-C to prospective partners.
Monitor competitive landscape and market trends in AD and digital biomarkers to identify growth opportunities.
Serve as a trusted expert in cognition and Alzheimer’s disease , supporting client implementation and ensuring scientific credibility.
Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to drive alignment and impact.
Represent SB-C at key scientific and industry events, publications, and collaborations.
Requirements
Advanced degree in neuroscience, psychology, pharmacology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent commercial experience is an asset.
Between 5 and 15 years of expertise in Alzheimer’s disease drug development , cognitive assessment, or biomarker strategy, ideally with product or commercial exposure.
Deep understanding of cognition, clinical endpoints, and the evolving biomarker landscape in neurodegenerative diseases.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable operating at the interface of science and business .
Experience engaging pharma or biotech partners is highly desirable.
Up to 30% travel.
