Job Description:
As a Sr. Staff/Principal Test Engineer/Lead (ATE solutions) in mmwave/RF IC group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of RF & mmwave products (such as beamformers, up/downconverters, LNAs, PAs, etc.) through comprehensive final test implementation. You will be responsible for the ATE final test development of mmWave/RF projects and be the leading force in the development cycle of Axiro’s innovative test solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Leading the test engineering team and external contractors to deliver high-quality test solutions for complex RF/mmWave front-end ICs.
· Designing and executing test setups using automated test equipment (ATE), probe stations, oscilloscopes, and other testing tools.
· Programming and scripting in languages such as Python, C, or C++ to automate test processes and analyze test data.
· Conducting thorough test validation and verification to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance (QA) teams to address technical issues and optimize testing processes.
· Analyzing test results, identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and generating detailed test reports and documentation.
· Planning and overseeing the loadboard hardware development for RF & mmwave IC products.
· Staying updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in semiconductor testing methodologies.
Qualifications:
· Test Engineer with 10+ Years experience developing hardware and software at Wafer Sort and Final Test for RF & mmwave IC products.
· Experience using Advantest 93k, Teradyne MicroFlex, and other establish automated tester solutions.
· Previous experience and product track record with high performance RFIC test development (experience on beamformer IC is a big plus).
· Fundamental RF knowledge including main RF performance specifications such as Gain, Return loss, NF, P1dB, IP3, ACPR, EVM, etc.
· Experience using I2C, I3C, and SPI protocol.
· Understand procedures such as GR&R, HTOL, Characterization.
· Prior experience leading external contractors for test hardware and software development.
