You’ll work on online help content, product manuals, dealer documentation, customer-facing communication, and technical/marketing content that helps users understand and adopt our products.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and maintain documentation across online help systems, product manuals, and customer communication channels
• Write clear, structured content that explains technical concepts in simple language
• Create marketing and product copy to support customer awareness and adoption
• Work with SMEs, engineering teams, and product teams to gather and analyze information
• Ensure consistency in style, clarity, tone, and formatting across all documentation
• Review and quality-check content before it moves to the next level of approval
• Manage multiple documentation assignments independently and meet deadlines
• Understand products through hands-on usage and translate that understanding into user-friendly content
What we’re looking for:
• 3–5 years of proven experience in technical writing
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Experience writing online help, dealer manuals, product manuals, or software documentation
• Strong command of written and verbal English
• Ability to simplify engineering or technical language for business and customer users
• Strong attention to detail, research skills, and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently in both office and remote/telecommuting environments
• Portfolio of published articles, documentation, or writing samples preferred
Tools and skills required:
• Adobe RoboHelp
• MadCap Flare
• MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Office Suite
• SnagIT
• Basic HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with the Documentation Development Cycle
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working closely with product and engineering teams, learning complex systems, and turning that knowledge into documentation that is practical, polished, and easy to understand.
Multilingual experience is a plus.
