About the role
As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in creating, structuring, and maintaining the technical documentation for our military and dual-use robotic systems.
You will work closely with System Engineering, Safety & Mission Assurance, and Product Development to ensure that all documentation meets regulatory, military, and customer requirements.

Create and maintain technical documentation for military and dual-use systems
Prepare CE documentation according to applicable regulations (Machinery Directive, Machinery Regulation, EMC Directive, RED, Low Voltage Directive)
Develop and adapt graphics, schematics, and technical illustrations
Create and maintain operating manuals and maintenance instructions
Develop electronic documentation structures and documentation systems
Plan and prepare technical documentation deliverables
Create and update internal and external technical documents for customer operation and maintenance personnel
Maintain configuration-related documentation rules and procedures
Collaborate closely with System Engineering to collect, structure, and prepare all technical information required to understand system operation and functionality
Independently execute change management processes and create new technical documentation as needed
Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality
Your Profile
Degree in Information Technology, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Writing, or a comparable qualification
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language
Passion for editorial processes, structured documentation, and new technologies
Fluent German and very good English skills
Nice to have: awareness of relevant norms and military documentation standards (e.g IEC/IEEE 92079-1, ISO 20607)
