We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team, supporting critical initiatives within both our NeMo Research & Development team and RAPIDS, NVIDIA’s open-source, GPU-based Python data science library. This role requires a blend of core TPM expertise, a strong technical capability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Work hand-in-hand with our software engineering and product teams to build and maintain requirements and roadmap(s) that include both long-term strategic and short-term tactical objectives while considering our capacity to meet those goals.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop and maintain detailed project plans.
• Work with our NeMo model research teams to define and refine processes for transitioning research outputs to product, and handle all release-related processes (e.g. compliance and security reviews).
• Lead definition and refinement of software development processes and technologies to improve our project delivery.
• Coordinate activities with internal and external partners including other organizations within NVIDIA.
• Champion the ethical usage of data throughout the model building lifecycle, ensuring compliance and responsible development practices.
• Assist in building critical metrics, program schedules to measure release health, predictability, and achievements.

What we need to see:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Programming (Python, c++) or data science experience, or other related technical background.
• Passion for democratizing access to data science through open-source software, collaborative platforms, and shared model resources.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for process improvement.
• Be able to demonstrate initiative and determination in getting things done and improving process for the whole team.
• Experience partnering with research teams to define technical requirements and drive experimental workflows to successful outcomes.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD for Level 4, and 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD for Level 5.
