The Technical Delivery Manager will lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery lifecycle across multiple technology streams within the KPMG US program. The role demands strong execution leadership, exceptional client engagement, and the ability to drive cross-functional delivery across engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams. The TDM will work under the Vice President, Global Delivery, partnering with peer delivery managers, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and successful release outcomes. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong communication, situational leadership, and the ability to navigate complex technical environments.
Key Responsibilities Technical Delivery Leadership Oversee and drive the end-to-end technical delivery of the KPMG-US projects. Lead planning, roadmap development, milestone definition, and delivery execution across distributed teams. Ensure alignment with program objectives, architectural standards, and quality benchmarks. Project & Program Management Define project scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams. Apply industry-standard project management methodologies and governance practices. Ensure early identification of risks, proactively develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, data, QA, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery. Coordinate technical design discussions, solution reviews, and integration planning across dependent systems. Facilitate working groups, solutioning sessions, and progress checkpoints. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary delivery liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and the delivery organization. Provide clear, consistent communication of project status, risks, timelines, and dependencies. Build strong, trusted relationships with client leadership and technology partners. Operational Readiness & Go-Live Support Oversee go-live planning, cutover coordination, runbook preparation, and post-implementation support. Ensure effective issue triage, defect management, and stability assurance during deployment phases. Team Leadership Lead onshore/offshore distributed teams, fostering collaboration, ownership, and accountability. Guide team members through technical challenges, delivery prioritization, and conflict resolution.
Required Skills & Experience Core Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, project leadership, or technical program management. Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale, technology-intensive projects simultaneously. Strong command of delivery governance, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid methodology frameworks. Technical Expertise Experience overseeing Microsoft technology stack projects~ Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks, PySpark or related technology is a plus. Experience working with data-driven or audit-related platforms is a plus. Professional Skills Excellent communication (verbal/written), stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Strong analytical, decision-making, and prioritization abilities. Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage escalations, and lead war-room situations. High emotional intelligence, with the ability to counsel teams and manage expectations.
