Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst who is confident engaging directly with clients in the gambling industry . This role is heavily stakeholder-focused, requiring strong facilitation, requirements definition, and advisory capability within complex, regulated environments. This role is less industry-specific and more focused on systems, architecture, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse business and system requirements with a technical lens
Advise customers on suitable solutions and system design approaches
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams
Document functional and non-functional requirements
Support solution implementation from requirements through delivery

Requisite Experience, Education, Knowledge, and/or Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
10+ years in the South African payments industry with deep domain expertise.
Hands-on knowledge of local payment rails (e.g., PayShap, DebiCheck, EFT, RTC, card systems).
Understanding of alternative payment methods (e.g., wallets, stokvels, mobile payments in retail/telcos).
Experience in architecture design, solutioning, and delivery.
AWS and Azure certifications preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams and projects independently.
Strong client-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
