Role summary
The Technical Account Manager is the executive technical partner and customer lead for strategic accounts. You will project manage and grow your book, run high-signal QBRs and health checks, and convert customer needs into actionable requests for support, engineering, and data teams. You are growth-first, highly operational, and comfortable running high pace / high volume cross-functional software and data projects. You are the owner of client deliverables, from opportunity identification all the way to delivery.
What you will own
Project & account leadership.
Be the first line for project and account management for assigned strategic accounts. You will own customer relationships, driving expansion growth through thorough account and project management, working with our engineering and support teams.
Account growth.
Own NRR, Expansion ARR and cross-functional adoption; run QBRs and monitor customer engagement to uncover and convert opportunities, and minimize potential churn.
Problem translation and resolution.
Convert client opportunities into prioritized, actionable work for Support and Engineering teams, owning the SLA until resolution. Partner closely with internal teams to ensure the client is supported end-to-end.
Operational hygiene.
Maintain and monitor customer health dashboards, own remediation follow-through, and delivery across growth opportunities.
Advocacy & roadmap.
Capture and advocate customer use cases and product gaps to influence roadmap and prioritization.
What success looks like
Must-have skills & experience
6+ years
in technical customer-facing roles such as TAM, senior customer success, solutions engineering, implementation leadership, or client services in an agency or a SaaS environment.
Proven track record of driving expansion and NRR in mid-market or strategic accounts.
Project management experience:
proven ability to project manage complex technical projects, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes for end-customers.
Practical data & analytics skills:
Experience with BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) and common analytics sources (GA4, GTM, ad platforms, Salesforce/HubSpot).
Exceptional verbal and written communication; executive presence and ability to run QBRs and stakeholder meetings.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills; decisive under ambiguity.
