THE TEAM
Join our Core Backend Team in Paris, where you’ll pilot the transverse backend chapter. As a Backend Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing scalable backend systems while fostering backend excellence across teams. You’ll work with a variety of internal stakeholders, including DevOps, frontend, product, and data teams, to ensure seamless solutions.
- Tech Stack: Symfony PHP, REST APIs, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB), SQL
- Monitoring tools: Grafana, Sentry
- Collaboration Tools: Slack, Jira, Confluence
YOUR MISSION
- Pilot backend architecture and innovation: Design scalable systems using Symfony PHP, REST APIs, and serverless AWS architectures.
- Foster team excellence: Mentor engineers, define best practices, and empower cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Drive collaboration: Partner with DevOps, product, and data teams to ensure seamless technical integration.
- Shape the backend chapter: Define and enforce standards, advocate cross-team initiatives, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Proven expertise in Symfony PHP, REST APIs, and serverless architectures.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda and DynamoDB.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Python, GoLang, Node.JS, GCP, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and hexagonal architecture.
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven systems.
