Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Technology Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and supporting innovative tax technology solutions for our clients. You will act as a key bridge between tax professionals and IT, translating complex tax requirements into effective technology strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of tax functions by leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and configuration of tax technology solutions, including ERP tax engines (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and third-party tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Vertex).
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, gathering business requirements, providing expert advice, and managing project timelines to ensure successful delivery of tax technology projects.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for clients and internal teams on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and effective use of technology.
• Support business development activities by participating in client proposals, demonstrating software capabilities, and identifying opportunities for new tax technology services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a tax technology role, either in-house or within a professional services firm.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major tax engine or compliance software (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara).
• Excellent project management and client-facing communication skills.
• A solid understanding of corporate tax principles (direct or indirect).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Professional qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Fusion.
