Location: Hybrid – within commuting distance of our client’s office in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia (Bucks / Montgomery area)

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established regional CPA firm looking for a hands-on Tax Manager (or strong Senior ready for Manager) who wants a long-term home and a clear path to future leadership/partnership.

You’ll manage a meaningful book of business, mentor staff, and be part of a collaborative team that’s planning for the next generation of firm leadership.

• March 1–April 15: target ~55 hrs/week
• Rest of year: mostly 35–45 hrs/week, around 2,100 hrs/year total.

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow a tax client portfolio
• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, estate & trust returns.
• Build strong year-round client relationships and provide proactive planning.
• Review and coach Seniors/Staff; participate in peer review and team development.
• Engage in light business development: networking, community involvement, and relationship-building with clients, bankers, attorneys, and centers of influence.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in public accounting (national, regional, or local firm); current CPA Manager status.
• Expertise: Significant experience with individual, partnership, corporate, estate, and trust tax returns.
