Why
Everyone worries about the dooms-day in climate change which is expected to occur in the 2050s. However, there's one doom's day which is the reality for millions of people around the world today. Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children death occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.
Job Description
Skill Requirements
2 to 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable handling multiple roles simultaneously
Experience hiring for engineering or tech roles is a plus
High ownership mindset with the ability to take feedback constructively
High energy and genuine passion for building great teams

Work with the Founder and leadership team to understand near-term and long-term hiring priorities
Work alongside all engineering, design, business, and ops teams to understand human resources requirements
Design and build college recruiting collaborations on behalf of the company
Understand skill requirements and expectations for each open position, find, reach out to engage with prospective candidates
Sort through high-volume resumes for short listing candidates for interviews
Manage both active and passive candidate funnels and drive referrals
Conduct behavioural interviews through phone/video to pass candidates for further rounds as per the company procedures
Track applicant progress and schedule each stage of interview with appropriate team members to expedite closure
Coordinate and plan on-site final stage interviews
Ensure successful closure, conduct orientation and onboarding sessions with applicants
Work alongside the team to understand position budgets, timelines, legal requirements, and closure
Generate offer letters and edit employment agreements to closure
Develop and maintain employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
Conduct thorough reference and background checks on potential hires
Continuously evaluate and enhance the employer brand and candidate experience
Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities and progress to stakeholders
