Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a System Software Intern based in Gainesville, FL, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and debugging software systems. They will support system engineering activities and contribute to the enhancement of operating systems and software applications, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Software Development and Software Design concepts to create robust and efficient solutions.
Understanding of Systems Engineering principles, with the ability to contribute to system integration and optimization projects.
Knowledge of Operating Systems and experience with Debugging methodologies to identify and resolve software issues.
Motivated to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and engineering challenges.
Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork capabilities for collaboration in both in-person and remote environments.
