About the Role:

Work Split:
60-70% Hands-on Lab | 20-30% Team Collaboration | Up to 20% Travel (Berlin / Customer sites)
We are seeking a System Integration Engineer to own the end-to-end integration and optimization of Quantica's NovoJet printing systems. In this highly hands-on lab role, you will work across the entire print engine—fluidics, control software, telemetry, and driver electronics—to ensure advanced materials jet reliably.
Positioned at the intersection of lab experimentation and field integration, you will collaborate closely with internal development teams, technology partners, and customers. While you can influence sub-domain experts in firmware or electronics, your core focus is configuring, diagnosing, and tuning the integrated system as a whole.
Your profile
Key Responsibilities:
What you bring:
- Degree in Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with precision mechatronic or fluidic systems (inkjet, dispensing, microfluidics, or additive manufacturing).
Nice to have:
- Experience with printhead-based or inkjet material deposition systems.
- Knowledge of jetting complex materials.
- Telemetry processing and insight generation.
- Experience coordinating with external electronics or hardware vendors on integration and rework.
- Comfort in customer-facing roles.
