As a System Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our networking systems perform perfectly! What you'll be doing: - Leading technical investigations across multiple domains, working closely with customers, CMs, HW, SW, and SPE teams. - Analyzing logs, telemetry, and system diagnostics from field-deployed systems to identify failure modes and error conditions. - Evaluating RMA claims to resolve their validity and recommend next steps, such as RMA approval or additional testing. - Identifying trends and recurring issues by aggregating and comparing data across various customer environments. - Providing clear summaries, root cause documentation, and actionable recommendations to support decision-making processes. What we need to see: - B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in system-level debugging, post-production support engineering, or field data analysis. - Proven ability to interpret complex logs, communication protocols, and system-level behavior. - Strong experience in failure analysis, root-cause isolation, and cross-domain troubleshooting. - Familiarity with RMA workflows, lifecycle support, and handling critical issues. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - An analytical approach with strong engineering judgment to derive insights from large volumes of data. - Proficiency with tools and scripting environments used for data slicing, visualization, and statistical correlation (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel, Kibana, Tableau) is an advantage.
