Qualifications
Project Implementation: Assist in the planning and execution of ELV systems deployments, including access control, CCTV, auto gates, perimeter security, and other related systems. Support data center infrastructure deployment, including UPS systems, network cabling, cooling systems, and power distribution units (PDUs). Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Project Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout all project phases.
Technical Deployment: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems and data center infrastructure components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and industry best practices.
Project Management Support: Provide administrative and operational support to project managers, including monitoring schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, such as technical drawings, test results, and progress reports, ensuring accurate and timely updates for stakeholders.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality checks to confirm that system installations meet established standards and client expectations.
Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation or operation, minimizing delays and ensuring client satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all project activities adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on the latest developments in ELV and data center technologies, including UPS, networking, cooling, and power systems, sharing insights with the team to improve system performance and deployment processes.
Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Center Infrastructure, or a related field.
Relevant Experience: Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Service Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on ELV systems and data center infrastructure, including UPS, network cabling, cooling systems, power distribution, and security systems. Experience in deploying and managing data center projects is highly advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of ELV systems, data center infrastructure (UPS, cooling, power, networking), and technologies, with hands-on deployment and troubleshooting experience.
Leadership and Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams effectively.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations, particularly those pertaining to data centers and ELV systems.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Additional Advantage: Prior experience with data center infrastructure projects, including UPS, cooling, power systems, and network deployment, is highly desirable.
