About the Role:
Reporting to the First Response Operations Team Lead, you’ll be a highly motivated and technically confident individual, with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as a strong desire for improvement and self-development.
As a L2 Support Engineer you’ll be accountable for maintaining a secure and highly available environment for our managed clients, services, and core infrastructure; working across a range of network infrastructure and security technologies.
Day to day you will:

Diagnose and Fix Incidents within Service Level agreement.

Liaise with Vendor for TAC Support and failed Hardware Replacement.

Create and Implement Network and Firewall changes as per business operations requirements.

Perform software upgrades and SSL certificate updates as part of proactive maintenance.

Develop and support procedures, processes, and code to increase the efficiency and operational capability.
What skills and experience you'll bring:
-
Relevant qualification in related field and certification – i.e. CCNP, NSE4 etc.

Demonstrable experience working within a related or similar role – i.e. Network Operations, Security Operations, Network Engineering.

Proficient in Check Point, Juniper, Fortinet Firewall and Cisco routing, switching and wireless technologies.
Other additional nice-to-have skills include experience in operating and maintaining Load Balancers and Proxies and familiar with CISCO ISE and DNA solution.
