Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Supply Chain Planning Engineer based at an Applix client location in East Peoria, IL. This role is deeply hands-on and execution-focused, leading sourcing and procurement projects for iron castings and machined iron castings from quotation through steady-state production.
The Supply Chain Planning Engineer will manage supplier sourcing and transitions, evaluate supplier readiness and total cost of ownership, coordinate tooling and production ramp-ups, and ensure continuity of supply during supplier changes. You will work closely with buyers, supplier development engineers, design and manufacturing teams, and key stakeholders to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
Limited travel (0–10%) may be required for supplier visits, audits, and stakeholder meetings.
