Job Description Store Keeper
- Inventory Control: Conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling book values to actual stock to ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Preparing periodic reports Daily/Monthly Inventory Report
- Audit & Compliance: Preparing documentation for internal & external audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare daily material receiving record & sharing with head office.
- Continuously maintaining storage area by organizing floor space and designating storage locations for new goods.
- Coordinate between warehouse and other offices and departments on departure schedules and priority orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Stock & safe custody of stores.
- Issue of finished goods & other materials
- Loading/Unloading material and checking consignment safety
- Unpacking the packages received and verifying quantity & quality as per terms & conditions of PO/ challan.
- Checking safe arrival & dispatch of package and coordinate with transporter
- To prepare Receipt & Delivery Challans
- Co ordinating with transporter & other concerned persons for collection & delivery of material
- Measuring, counting & checking of material
- Verification of receipt documents & raising discrepancies.
- General correspondence, maintaining files & registers
- Maintaining Daily report/MIS by incorporating full particulars of stores from item code, description of material, quantity, make & vendor name etc.
- Material Inspection & Preparing rejection memo to vendors/suppliers for rejected goods.
- Adequately classify, mark & locate all store material for ready accessibility
- Protection against unauthorized withdrawal from stores.
- Maintaining Index/Receipt/Return note/Inventory registers.
