We are seeking an Analyst to support a national initiative focused on advancing the labour market integration of highly skilled newcomer
women across Canada. The role involves identifying, extracting, and compiling labour market, demographic, and policy-related data from
multiple provincial and national sources. The ideal candidate combines analytical and data management skills with writing abilities and a
demonstrated capacity to translate technical analyses into plain-language reports. The role involves abstracting data to communicate findings
for diverse audiences. The position requires familiarity with provincial labour market datasets and policy environments across Canada. Knowledge
of Canadian labour market systems, immigration pathways, and newcomer employment challenges is an asset.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the application of routine and moderately complex statistical and technical skills toward the collection, analysis, and translation of statistical data for a variety of research projects. Conducts statistical research and analysis and compiles and interprets statistical records and reports for a variety of research projects. Works under general supervision and uses discretion to resolve various problems and inquiries. Specific instruction is usually given and work is reviewed at frequent milestones.
