About the role
We are looking for a strong technical lead to help grow our Singapore engineering team. This role is primarily expected to be a strong independent contributor while also collaborating closely with product teams and providing technical direction. Our Singapore team allows us to push product initiatives forward during non US hours without distraction. We are looking for an experienced cornerstone to build the team around. One that can translate product vision into scalable features.
What you will be doing
β Focusing primarily on high output software development leveraging state of the art GenAI codegen practices
β Taking on technical leadership of projects from ideation to deployment and release
β Collaborating closely with product managers to determine what is technically feasible to unlock seamless user experience
β Reviewing pull requests, internal and external to team, to provide helpful feedback for stability and mentorship
β Innovating on creative technical solutions to difficult analog problems
What we're looking for
β 5+ years of experience in Python/Go/Rust (or other Object-Oriented Language).
β 3+ years of experience with React
β 3+ years of experience working with Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks or Redshift
β Experience in building and managing distributed systems.
β Experience with AWS and Terraform (or equivalent)
β Experience in developing and optimizing end-to-end APIs, data-flows, SQL queries and infrastructure for consumer or enterprise products.
β Experience with event driven architecture and relevant technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc)
β Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles including software design, source control management, build processes, automated deployments, code reviews, testing methods.
β Hustle, curiosity, humility

β Experience managing large-scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 4 9's
β Experience with Apache Spark
Compensation
The standard base pay range for this role is 14,000 - 16,000 SGD Monthly.
