Position Summary
We are seeking a Staff Engineer, Software & Applications to lead the design, development, and evolution of our core laboratory systems and operational platforms. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and laboratory excellence, with a strong emphasis on building AI-native applications and scalable architecture.
As a forward-deployed engineer, you will work closely with scientific teams in both the U.S. and Japan to translate complex lab workflows into intuitive, high-performance software. Your goal is to build a robust LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) that not only supports our mission-critical diagnostics but also serves as a scalable platform for future external service expansion. This is a full-time, onsite position located in San Diego, CA.
