Job Summary Impiricus is hiring for a Staff Accountant who's detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow. This is a high-impact role reporting or working directly with the Controller. This person will support all aspects of accounting, account receivable and payable management, financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as management of internal accounting policies and process improvement.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day general ledger activity and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries, manage month-end close, perform account reconciliations
• Support preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience; public accounting experience is a plus
• CPA or progress toward certification a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, NetSuite, Expense Reporting Systems)
• Detailed-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
• Process mindset is a must

Compensation And Benefits The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000
