Overview JOB SUMMARY: The StaffAccountant position is primarily responsible for providingfulllifecycle accounting, tracking, and reporting of the company's fixed assets and capitalized equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role supports month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, with a strong emphasis on asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, inventory tracking, and reconciliation between subledgers and the general ledger.
The position works closely with the Accounting Manager/Controller, operations,logistics, and external auditors tomaintainaccuratefinancial records, support audits and tax filings, and continuously improve asset-related processes and controls. The role also provides general accounting support and serves as a knowledgeable resource for asset-related questions across theorganization.
