Role Description
We are seeking a skilled STA (Static Timing Analysis) Engineer for a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. The STA Engineer will be responsible for performing and managing static timing analysis for semiconductor designs, validating timing constraints, and ensuring timing closure. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design performance, perform debugging, and deliver high-quality design deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Static Timing Analysis tools (e.g., PrimeTime, Tempus) and constraint development
- Strong understanding of digital design, timing concepts, clock tree analysis, and timing closure
- Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl, or shell scripting to automate workflows
- Knowledge of semiconductor design flow, EDA tools, and RTL-to-GDSII design methodologies
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging and resolving timing violations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering teams
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI Design, or related field
