The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Financial Analyst will be supporting the Division's research and development teams to plan, track, and analyze budgets. This position will have exposure to a highly efficient team members with industry + technical expertise that is valuable to build knowledge and grow at KLA. - Analyze project development costs - Monitor expense trend and provide insights to the engineering team and management - Update quarterly cost and headcount allocations to engineering programs - Maintain program spending tracker and support with landmark presentations to business leaders - Assist with ad hoc requests for financial modeling, scenario analysis and simulations - Provide support to engineering teams to develop and consolidate annual spending budget - Prepare monthly financial forecast for head count expense and project material spend - Prepare quarterly close journals and balance sheet reconciliation - Prepare financial summary of project development costs - Coordinate & consolidate monthly reporting package - Own fixed asset approval process and depreciation forecast for R&D team - Strong MS Excel skills - Working knowledge of financial planning systems - Ability to lead multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment - Comfortable in ambiguous environment, comfortable approaching and presenting with different levels of the organization - Independent and critical thinker, fast learner and excellent detail - Understanding of P&L and Balance sheet accounts Minimum Qualifications - Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years Base Pay Range: $120,700.00 - $205,200.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
