Job Summary:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. The AWS IoT team is seeking a talented Senior Product Manager-Technical to drive product development in AWS IoT, focusing on device connectivity and management while identifying customer needs and delivering innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
• You will dive deep with customers to understand their needs, the opportunity, and identify the quantifiable business outcome. Translate the customer problem statement into product definition.
• You will use your product manager toolkit to conduct market research, evaluate market dynamics, analyze customer data and conduct direct communication with customers to drive the product vision and make informed roadmap decisions.
• You will set the vision, define the use cases and the product requirements for AWS IoT as well as execute with engineering to deliver the results.
• You will partner closely with development, user experience, research as well as our sales, marketing, and services team to drive AWS IoT adoption.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
• 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Preferred:
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
