Implement, and administer advanced configurations of SaaS tools, including but not limited to Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta Workflows, and the Atlassian suite.
Provide expert-level support, monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting for highly complex applications, integrated systems, and the intricate interdependencies between them.
Lead the design, and administration of our internal Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions, including the architecture, configuration, and large-scale deployment of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
Serve as a technical resource for our rapidly scaling business, providing strategic guidance on the evolution and optimization of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Champion cross-team knowledge sharing by developing and maintaining comprehensive, high-quality IT documentation and playbooks.
Continuously evaluate the environment for strategic gaps and opportunities, driving initiatives to enhance system maturity and security posture, and proactively identifying and automating complex manual processes.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices, providing insightful recommendations for adoption and integration to enhance our IT capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of extensive experience designing, implementing, and administering a broad spectrum of enterprise-level SaaS applications in a cloud-first environment.
Deep technical mastery of our primary tech stack: Okta (including advanced features and integrations), Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and the Atlassian suite (with significant experience in Jira Service Desk and Software automation, custom workflows, and advanced administration).
5+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Workflows and other enterprise-grade iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier, BetterCloud), including designing and implementing complex integrations.
Expert-level understanding and practical application of advanced IAM concepts (SSO, SWA, SAML, JIT, SCIM, OIDC, OAuth, RBAC, ABAC), including designing and troubleshooting complex authentication and authorization flows.
Experience working with APIs for integration, automation, and data manipulation.
Advanced scripting proficiency for automation, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, GAM), with experience in developing robust, scalable scripts.
Exceptional analytical and complex problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of IT operations, incident management, and change management best practices.
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results and deliver key initiatives within demanding timelines and evolving priorities.
Proven adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environments with frequently changing priorities and time-sensitive requests.
Flexibility for odd hours and on-call duties is required to support critical operations.
Extensive experience as an IT Systems Engineer in a high-growth, fast-paced corporate environment.
Any Okta certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, Consultant) are highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus.
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
