Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and manage business license applications, renewals, and payments across all applicable jurisdictions.
• Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely compliance with all business license obligations.
• Maintain and update internal databases or tracking tools with relevant license information and status.
• Mentor and help train junior tax analysts, providing guidance and support on complex tax and licensing matters.
• Identify and work with management to implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance.
• Participate in system enhancement projects or automation initiatives related to licensing.
• Act as a backup resource for sales & use and property tax teams during filing season, month-end, or other peak times.
• Assist with compiling data and documentation for tax audits, as needed.

Required Experience 3+ years of experience in Indirect Taxes, Accounting/Finance, or Business Licenses

Formal Education, Qualifications Or Training Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

Base Pay Range $84, 300 - $109, 600 / year

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
