About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level SQA Engineer to join our San Francisco office and help us build reliable, high-quality software through robust test automation and strong QA practices. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to design and maintain automated test suites, improve test coverage, and support CI/CD-driven releases.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable  automated test frameworks  (UI + API).
• Create and execute  end-to-end UI automation  using  Selenium .
• Perform  API testing  (functional, regression, negative, and basic performance checks).
• Collaborate with engineers to define test strategy, acceptance criteria, and quality gates.
• Integrate automated tests into  CI/CD pipelines  and improve test execution reliability.
• Analyze test failures, debug issues, and provide clear defect reports with reproducible steps.
• Maintain QA documentation: test plans, test cases, and regression checklists.
• Contribute to continuous improvement: flakiness reduction, tooling upgrades, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Nice to Have

• Experience with  test automation in cloud environments .
• Basic performance testing exposure (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Knowledge of containerization and deployment workflows (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with BDD (Cucumber) or modern automation frameworks (Playwright/Cypress) in addition to Selenium.
