About The Role This is a full-time, onsite role as a Solutions Engineer at our Berlin HQ, preceded with a three-month rotational program with a pathway into a technical customer-facing role. You'll join a cohort of technical talent who build deep product expertise and customer engagement skills from day one, culminating in a position where you'll own all customer-facing software work, from managing integrations to building workflow templates and applying AI to solve complex customer challenges.
Our Approach
At Langdock, we believe the best Solutions Engineers are technical builders who understand both the product architecture and the customer's business challenges. If you're excited about startups, AI, and driving technical customer impact, this is a unique opportunity to build a foundation in product and customer success before stepping into a high-impact technical role that bridges software development, applied AI, and customer solutions.
Program Structure
Our Solutions Engineer position is preceded by a three-month rotation designed to prepare you for the role:
Weeks 1-6: Customer Support Foundations
Weeks 7-12: Integrations & Workflow Templates
Upon graduation, you'll transition into a Solutions Engineer role, equipped with deep product knowledge, technical implementation skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer-facing software solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do
What We Look For
Technical Depth: You have strong software development skills and understand how AI systems, APIs, databases, and integrations work at a deep level
Solution Design: You're able to translate customer requirements into technical implementations and build robust, scalable solutions
Applied AI Expertise: You can leverage AI for practical applications like documentation, automation, and workflow optimization
Customer Empathy: You anticipate customer needs and pain points, and build solutions that address real technical challenges
Self-Guided: You drive your own work, take initiative from day one, and work autonomously while prioritizing learning and impact
Why This Approach Works
Our program is designed for people who want to build deep product expertise before owning the technical customer journey. As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical backbone of customer success: from building and maintaining integrations, to creating workflow templates, to applying AI for automation and documentation, to ensuring customers can leverage the full technical capabilities of our platform.
