About the Role: C&I Solution Engineer
As a C&I Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of commercial & industrial (C&I) solar PV and energy storage solutions. You will work closely with sales teams, customers, and partners to provide practical, project-level technical support, ensuring solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with customer requirements. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, bridging customer needs with Sigenergy’s product and system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Technical Support
- Design C&I PV solar and energy storage system solutions based on customer requirements, site conditions, and commercial objectives.
- Support pre-sales activities, including system sizing, configuration, technical calculations, and basic system optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation such as solution proposals, system diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure solutions comply with local standards, grid requirements, and safety regulations.
- Support feasibility analysis and basic project evaluation for C&I applications.
- Customer & Project Support
- Provide technical support during customer meetings, site visits, and project discussions.
- Assist sales teams in responding to technical questions, RFQs, and project requirements.
- Support project handover to delivery teams, ensuring alignment between proposed solutions and execution.
- Work with installers and partners to ensure correct system design, installation approach, and commissioning readiness.
- Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, product, R&D, and technical support to ensure solution accuracy and feasibility.
- Provide feedback from projects and customers to improve products, tools, and solution design standards.
- Support standardization of C&I solution templates and design guidelines.
- Training & Technical Enablement
- Support technical training sessions for internal teams, installers, and partners on product features, system design, and installation best practices.
- Assist in developing technical documentation, solution guides, and application notes.
- Market & Technology Awareness
- Stay updated on C&I market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in solar PV and energy storage.
- Provide basic input on competitor solutions and market requirements to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in solar PV and/or energy storage, with a focus on C&I projects or system design.
- Hands-on experience in system design, sizing, and technical support for PV and ESS solutions.
- Familiarity with inverters, energy storage systems, and low- to medium-voltage systems.
