Design and implement data quality test plans, including test cases and test scripts.

Conduct thorough data validation and verification across multiple data sources and targets between current data estate and the Fabric implementation

Validate data migration from legacy ETL tools to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.

Identify, analyze, and document data discrepancies and anomalies.

Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend solutions.

Monitor data quality metrics and provide regular reports on data quality findings.

Create automated testing processes to streamline data validation during migration.

Validate BI / dashboard migration from Tableau to Power BI

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in data quality assurance and data testing.
Strong understanding of database and data modelling concepts and excellent SQL proficiency for data validation.
Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, ETL processes and reporting / BI QA.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data migration methodologies and best practices.
Experience with BI QA methodologies and best practices
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
