Your Mission
As the
R&D Team Lead
for Xwerk, DeltaFrontier’s flagship AI-powered Smart Workspace Platform, you will spearhead the research, development, and engineering efforts to bring this innovative platform to life. You will architect scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that integrate real-time sensor data, automate workspace experiences, and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and APIs. Your leadership will drive technical excellence, foster innovation, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of the Xwerk platform, including system architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong portfolio of production-grade systems.
Proven leadership experience in leading development teams or engineering squads in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience in AI/ML projects such as facial recognition, predictive analytics, or anomaly detection.
Knowledge of IoT protocols and smart building integrations (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
Familiarity with workplace safety, space utilization, and well-being analytics.
Background in building enterprise SaaS platforms or B2B applications.

Architect and oversee the development of AI modules such as facial recognition, occupancy prediction, behavioral analytics, and workspace well-being indicators.
Guide the development of scalable, intuitive front-end dashboards and user interfaces for real-time data visualization and analytics.
Design and manage back-end services to process and analyze data streams from IoT sensors, video feeds, and enterprise systems.
Establish and enforce best practices in software engineering, security, testing, and deployment (DevOps).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, UI/UX designers, AI/ML engineers, QA) to define technical roadmaps and feature deliverables.
Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous learning.
Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in AI, data platforms, IoT protocols, and smart building solutions to incorporate cutting-edge advancements into the platform.
Manage project timelines, resource planning, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time delivery.
Promote a collaborative, agile work environment that encourages creative problem solving and technical excellence.
Technical proficiency in:
Front-End: React.js, Vue.js, or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript
Back-End: Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask), or Java (Spring Boot)
Data & AI Integration: REST APIs, real-time streaming (Kafka, MQTT), WebSocket
