Who you are

• Final-year student, or 4th-year from a top engineering school, ideally with a strong background in mathematics, algorithmics, and software engineering
• Strong coding skills, particularly in Python, React, and/or Linux environments
• Solid understanding of performance modeling, systems concepts, or interest in low-level metrics (e.g., latency, throughput, memory usage)
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to reason mathematically and think in terms of performance tradeoffs
• Autonomous and proactive, with a passion for building robust and meaningful tools

What the job involves

• FlexAI is seeking a brilliant and motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Paris
• In this hybrid role, you’ll explore performance modeling beyond LLMs, build advanced system benchmarks, and contribute to the development of our frontend tools
• You’ll work alongside experts at the intersection of AI infrastructure, performance engineering, and user-facing analytics
• Model System Performance: Work on mathematical and algorithmic models to characterize and predict performance across various AI workloads (beyond LLMs)
