The Career Opportunity
Correct-AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and deploying software across our perception and robotics products, supporting real-world system installations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Correct-AI's systems.
This role offers direct exposure to production systems operating on real vehicles and machinery, with the opportunity to work across the full stack — from embedded platforms and sensor pipelines to cloud infrastructure and data tooling.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production software in C++ and Python across perception, control, and infrastructure layers.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong C++ skills with experience writing perform-ant, production-quality code.
- Solid Python for tooling, scripting, data processing, and application development.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and system-level issues.
- Ability to work hands-on with physical systems in lab and field environments.
Candidate Profile: Skills and Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- C++ & Python: Strong development skills with a track record of shipping production software.
- Embedded & Linux: Comfortable developing and deploying on Linux-based embedded platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
- Experience with LiDAR, cameras, or other perception sensors (point cloud processing, sensor calibration).
- Background in machine learning — model training, evaluation, or deployment using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with robotics concepts: coordinate frames, sensor fusion, or ROS/ROS2.
- Experience with CAN bus, vehicle ECUs, or embedded systems.
